Selected for the 1999 USA Basketball Men's Senior National Team which will participate in the 1999 Americas Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from July 14-25, for the 2000 Olympic Games
Topped 700 assists and 500 rebounds in the same season for the 2nd time in 1997-98, joining Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson (6 times each) as the only three players in NBA history to do so more than once
Led the Suns in 1997-98 in assists (9.1 apg, 2nd in the NBA) and steals (1.98 spg, 7th)
